We have booked 2 nights 3 days group package from Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort. The location of resort is amazing just beside the river, and it is eco friendly resort with delicious food and services are also good . Mr Basu Rao is very good tour co ordinator.

My stay at Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort was truly one of the most refreshing and memorable experiences I’ve had in recent times. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm surrounded by nature, far away from the noise of the city. The room was neat, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving me the perfect place to relax after long, exciting days. What I personally loved the most was the food—freshly prepared, authentic, and full of flavor. Every meal felt like a home-cooked delight. The highlight of my trip was definitely the boat safari through the Sundarbans. Sitting on the deck, watching the vast mangroves and wildlife around me, was simply unforgettable. The guides were knowledgeable and made the journey even more engaging by sharing interesting facts and stories. What made my experience truly special was the hospitality. The staff treated me with genuine warmth and care, always checking if I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. It didn’t feel like a commercial place—it felt personal and welcoming. We took package for 2 nights 3 days at tiger roar resort. Rooms are just fine. Toilets were smelly may be due to humidity, rusted and toileteries were hardly there. Water is not drinkable and we all guests have to buy bottled water for Rs 20 from the hotel every day. Water is hard salty and cant even wash your mouth. They do try to feed you good food as per them but hygiene and quality can be bit of a issue if you are visiting from abroad. Me being non veg was fine with food but my hubby being vegetarian did struggle and fell sick. Its a remote place so no doctors or medical support around. Staff does their best to help within their capacity.which is limited. We could not see few places as it was not accessible to public or tourist because some minister were visiting those tourist spots , however we had paid for the same its a loss for us not getting what was in itinerary. Food was also not as per listed in package but was just ok.

We are thankful to Sunderban Tiger Roar for their hospitality. Rooms very specious , well ventilated, flooding sunlight, near, washrooms big and very well maintained. Food yummy and hygienic. Tour guide was very cordial.

It was a brilliant experience at Tiger Roar resort. Everyone representing the resort was very kind friendly exceptional. Our Tour was planned and guided by Miss SurjyaSikha. From the start our Driver Mr Ram was really amazing and friendly. Mr Mukherjee & Mr Sarkar were always there to help us if we needed anything. The captain of our Boat Mr Mondol was also helpful. The food was extremely delicious. I would revisit Sundarban just to stay at this resort for the food and the hospitality provided.

Excellent stay at Tiger Roar Resort. Front desk helped us immensely and prompt response from booking to planning and keeping time schedule intact. Rooms are cleaned and well maintained. Some small issues are there , like outlet of basin Jali need to provide, which, hopefully will solve shortly. Foods served were hygienic and delicious. Boat , pickup Innova, provided to us was excellent and on tour guide on boat was also very cooperative, humble, and knowledgeable. Location is quiet and serenity prevails. Evening programs were also very interesting and entertaining. Thanks for arranging such a wonderful group tour for 3 days 2 nights so effectively for 6 pax of us. Enjoyed and having a nice memory to carry forward , above all we love to come again, and stay at Tiger Roar Resort.

If you are travelling to Sunderbans, this is the resort to be at. The rooms are very clean and hygienic and most importantly the stuff are extremely helpful and very co-operating. The food is light, less oily and tasty and has a lot of varieties. The boat service is extremely good too. Even the boat food is extremely hygienic. The guide was very friendly and extremely patient. You will have no complaints about this resort and their service.

Excellent place for a relaxing trip. We booked 2N 3D package Kolkata to Kolkata. the rooms are spacious clean, boat safari was great we spotted various animals wild boars, monitor Lizards, fishing cats, deers, crocodiles, monkeys etc.. Foods are freshly cooked and delicious. Our tour coordinator Mr. Sukanta host us and organised the trip very well. Hospitality must be appreciated. Evenings folk dance and baul songs were so nice and we also explore local islands villages got to learn about local culture lifestyle etc. Would recommend it over other resorts/tour packages.

We are a family of four and stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days on a private package. Our entire tour was meticulously planned and special dietary requests were accomodated for our elderly parents. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The food was delicious and wholesome. We enjoyed a local mutton preparation which was very tasty though the meat was slightly tough. Perhaps slow cooking it for a bit longer would have helped. The day long boat safari was very comfortable. We were taken through beautiful creeks and waterways that are home to a wide variety of birds and animals. Though we didn't spot the tiger, the safari was very fulfilling as we witnessed the jungle from such close proximity. It's important to remember that a trip to the Sunderbans is not only about spotting the tiger. It's about feasting on the different shades of green as you glide along the many rivers forming the delta, watching exquisite birds thriving in this pristine environment, and taking long walks through local villages to appreciate the resilience of a people who call the tiger's land their home. I began my Sunderban tour on 28th December 2005 and had the pleasure of staying at the Tiger Roar Resort, beautifully situated on the serene banks of the Datta River. The resort itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat amidst nature. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, adding to the overall delightful experience. From the moment of pick-up to the end of the trip, everything was seamlessly organized and professionally managed. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the resort and would wholeheartedly recommend Sunderban Tiger Roar Resort to anyone planning a visit to this enchanting region.

"Wonderful Experience, Highly Recommend!" The rooms were spacious, neat, and clean. Given the remote location, the standard of hygiene and comfort was very impressive. Especially the food of bengali cuisine with local specialties like fish, chicken, and other dishes, was delicious and plentiful. They even accommodated our specific dietary requests wonderfully. We had a memorable 2 nights, 3 days trip to the Sundarbans, and our stay at the Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

We visited this resort as part of a travel package for a family of 4 from December 26 - 28. The resort is situated at the bank of a river and a great location to start an excursion into the Sundarban National Park. The rooms are spacious with essential amenities. The property as a whole is quite compact due to the location but the staff works hard to make the stay comfortable. Hot water is available for only a few hours in the morning and there is only a single small shop nearby so pack accordingly. Food is a set menu and will be made similarly available by the resort for all visitors. However, for those with dietary restrictions, the guide and resort staff were supportive in ensuring everyone had a good meal. If you've booked a package with the resort, you will enjoy the boat safari and visit to the various viewpoints. This isn't a conventional national park as there are only a few locations that are available to visitors. We saw a couple of deer, a monitor lizard, a few birds and some monkeys from these locations. Overall, the resort provides a tightly-managed tour package including local cultural programs for the evenings. You just need to pack your bags and follow the guide around. As the national park itself is a protected area, and the resort is in a remote location to enable the excursion, there are no options beyond what is part of the tour plan. We started from Kolkata and had a good time. If you're looking to make a visit to Sundarban, this is a great option.

We booked the 2nights 3 days tour with the resort. We had an amazing time with them. The service is excellent. They pick you up from Kolkata and after that you don’t have to worry about anything! Everything is taken care of. The boat transfer and safari is comfortable and enjoyable. The food is amazing. Our tour coordinator Mr. Sukanto Bhoumik is very cordial and knowledgeable. He helped us spot many rare bird species. The safari guide too was very knowledgeable. The cultural shows are definitely enriching, the artists are very talented. Overall the experience was great.

Me and my family spend New Year in the resort. From the beginning, I have found the staff very courteous. Overall the services and food was very good. The 31st night, was awesome with orchestra. Overall the tour was very good. Only one feedback - Please try to give local cuisine during the stay, as we have given Chinese cuisine during the 1st night, which we don't like. Another one, please try to have bonfire with music everyday, as it lightens the mood and creates festive environment.

Last weekend, I traveled with my family to Sundarban, where we stayed at a this resort, and the experience was really wonderful. The resort was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were polite, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a family trip. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone planning a visit to Sundarban.

Great place. It takes 2.5 to 3 hrs of ferry ride from godhkhali to this resort situated in an island. Good experience. Delicious food. Fish curry is superb. Enjoyed folk dance and songs by locals on resort. Enjoyed the walk in the village and could see local ppl daily life and about their farming and fishing I had booked 2 night 3 days all inclusive package from kolkata. Worth the money . Guides explain about local flora and fauna as we cruise in rivers amidst forest. Would love to visit again.

Excellent 5* Experience beyond expectations. Special mention to Sukanto who was our guide for 3 days. Excellent part is that pick up from Kolkata and have their own boat which is with us for 3 days. The forest sail is approx 200 kms around various islands of sundarbans. The food is excellent with Pabda, Katla, Galda chingri, chicken on the platter. Keep it up.

Awesome experience with family. First time in Sunderban and enjoyed it thoroughly. Food was superb and the property is also well maintained with lots of greenary and flowers. Special thanks to Mr. Chinmoy Mukherjee and his team for being super host. Highly recommend this place for a family & friends trip. However the room condition was not that great an should be improved. This is the only scope of improvement.

We stayed three days and two nights at Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort in November 2025. The resort itself was small, but was neat and well maintained, and our room and the bathroom were clean. They provide towels but toiletries are very basic - one very small bar of soap and a small sachet of shampoo. No toilet paper. The food was very good across all the meals we had. However, the biggest plus point of the resort is the staff. Very friendly and helpful, they seemed genuinely service oriented, ever smiling and responsive. Both the nights we were there, they had an hours cultural program just before dinner and on the second night, a post dinner bonfire on the resort lawns as well. All in all a very good experience and I would stay there if I ever visited the area again

We visited for 2 nights and 3 days in Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort during October 2025 after Diwali and it was awesome experience. The staff was very co-operative and helpful. The boat service and crew members were excellent. The location of the resort is near to the river hence it gives awesome experience of wildlife. All the amenities were good. We saw Crocodiles, Boar, Deer, Monkeys, Monitor Lizards and birds during our launch journey. The cultural program by locals Jhumur dance and Baul Folk Music organised were superb. We enjoyed a lot. Overall the experience was very good and we enjoyed a lot.

The Tour of the Sundarban Tiger Reserve provided by the 'Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort' was very captivating, especially the boat ride provided throughout the tour. The entire tour was well planned and executed. The Rooms were were clean and cozy. The foods were very good. We enjoyed the tour very much.

The entire trip was amazing! Our tour coordinator was Mr Sukanta.From the moment that we stepped on to the bus till the end of the trip he took care of literally every needs and every whims. The resort was splendid with clean rooms, all necessary arrangements available even in such remote location. The food was heavenly!They have cows in the resort compund so have access to fresh milk and dairy based products like paneer which is made in house. In our second day we had Behtki Paturi-that was by far the best paturi I have ever had. All in all,the experience left us feeling rejuvenated and with lots of good memories. Hoping to come back real soon!

It was a great experience staying here. Rooms are spacious and the service is really appreciating. The ambience is mind soothing, filled with greenery. The quality of food was good. I really enjoyed my stay here. Also loved seeing the tribal dance and listening the baaul folk songs that was organized in the evening. Enjoyed the boat ride. The tour guide, boatmen and tour co-ordinator, everyone was very well behaved and helping 😊😊
